Photography Open Call: Double Take

Double Take: Reflections in Photography Exhibit

An Exclusive Fine Art Exhibition in Southampton
Presented by Long Island Photo Gallery & Photo Art Pavilion
On view March 2026 · Southampton Cultural Center

Photographers, this is your opportunity to showcase your vision in one of the Hamptons’ most refined cultural settings.

This March, the Southampton Cultural Center will host Double Take: Reflections in Photography, a juried fine art exhibition celebrating the artistry of reflection — from the glimmer of water and glass, to the mystery of mirrors, to the poetic abstractions found in nature.

Your work will be reviewed by juror Nicole Esposito, acclaimed photographer and educator, who will curate a collection that balances technical excellence with artistic innovation. Selected images will be featured in an elegant exhibition designed to captivate art lovers, collectors, and cultural influencers of the East End community.

Set in the heart of Southampton, this exhibition offers photographers more than a gallery showing — it’s a platform to gain recognition, connect with discerning collectors, and present your work in a prestigious cultural destination.

✨ Don’t miss the chance to share your vision and elevate your presence in the fine art photography world.

Meet the Juror: Nicole Esposito

Nicole Esposito is an avid landscape and travel photographer. Calling Long Island home, much of her work is focused around our shorelines, coasts and waters. This gorgeous island is a never ending source of inspiration. Growing up so close to the water fostered a love of the ocean and beaches. It’s no surprise that most of Nicole’s early work is focused on Long Island. And today, much of it still is.

With two college aged children, lots of travel has become a part of life as well. Photographing new places and locations has become almost as important as travelling itself. It’s always so much fun to chat with potential buyers about common travels or to have them guess where a particular photo was taken.

Nicole Esposito - Juror

Much of Nicole’s portfolio is coastal photography, whether Long Island, the Caribbean or Italy. She focuses on water most often, capturing the way it uniquely plays with light, changes color and reflects the surrounding world back at itself.
A member of Photo Art Pavilion, Nicole regularly shows her work in both their frequent in person and online exhibits. She is also a member of numerous art associations here on Long Island and currently serves as treasurer to South Bay Arts Association and secretary and photographer for the West Islip Chamber of Commerce. Her work has been shown at various galleries and even currently, a coffee shop in East Islip. Having taken part in 15+ shows, Nicole’s favorite part is always seeing how other fellow artists see their worlds. Part of photography is certainly skill and knowledge, but equally as important is vision and seeing the world differently. Photography is a true reflection of oneself.
