In the past year, Home Sweet Home has been transformed into something new for many. The landscape of the home has been changed. For some, the home landscape has changed forever. Or has it?

This exhibit will feature photographic works that depict different interpretations and representations of Home Sweet Home in America. This Home Sweet Home theme can vary greatly in interpretation. It is, however, of the utmost importance, no matter where we live, that the maker submits images that evoke feelings of home. Visually speaking, what does “home” mean to you?

Juror: Joanne Henig.
Joanne is an art photographer and curator who has spent her creative career helping other art photographers grow and promote their art portfolios using (globally) and (regionally). Joanne assists artists in building a saleable art portfolio by sharing her artistic vision and knowledge with other photographers. She has developed a long-standing reputation for giving voice to the art medium of photography. You can find Joanne leading photography workshops and tours, curating local exhibits, holding photography skills workshops, and offering educational seminars for all levels of photography experience. She has traveled the world as a professional photographer for more than 20 years. Her artistry has been recognized in numerous gallery exhibits, in print publications, and is on permanent display throughout the Long Island region.

Online display and art print sale offering: October 25th, 2021 – Perpetuity
Virtual ZOOM reception & awards presentation: Thursday, November 18th, 2021 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm

Accepted entries will be notified by email by the end of the day, October 22nd, 2021.  If you do not receive a notification on this date, please contact the Gallery: or 888-600-5474.  Awards will be presented at the reception and mailed to artists.

LIPG Excellence In Photography Awards:

First Place: $125.
Second place: $75.
Third place: $50.

    • Only photographically based works depicting the theme will be considered.
    • The entry fee is $35 for five images to be considered and is non-refundable.
    • The entry fee is by credit card only.
    • All works must be for sale.  85% commission paid to all artists on all works sold.
