Once again, it is with great pleasure that we direct you to the entries chosen for the ONLINE Exhibit themed, “New York, New York”!
We really enjoyed viewing all of the beautiful images. The most difficult part is narrowing down the entries selected for this exhibit to be chosen for Long Island Photo Gallery’s “Excellence In Photography” awards. While we think that all of the chosen entries were award-worthy, we have decided on the top three images for awards. We have also selected many ‘Honorable Mentions’ and a few ‘Visual Storytellers’ for this exhibit. There were so many great entries. Thank you to all who entered. Here are the entries that really spoke to us and define New York, New York, in our humble opinion:
Second Place: Welcome To Greenwich Village Photographer: Jacques LeBlanc (Reminds us of ‘It’s A Wonderful Life”)
Third Place: Empire State Photographer: Steve Mitchell (How could we pass up this iconic New York symbol)
Congratulations to these outstanding photographers and the artistry that you’ve put forth. As mentioned we’ve selected additional images that spoke to us and this theme and we wanted to give special recognition to those photographers in this ONLINE Exhibit.
Please extend further congratulations to these images for ‘Honorable Mention’ and ‘Visual Storytelling’:
We really hope you enjoy the images selected for this ONLINE Exhibit. We plan on doing another one in the near future. But in the mean time, after you spend time viewing the images we’ve chosen for “New York, New York”, please take a look at our other upcoming OPEN CALLS, exhibits, and receptions planned for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020.
