Don’t waste one cent on expensive gear. You already have it! Learn everything about your DSLR camera. This DSLR & Composition workshop will walk you though everything you need to know about photography, to get you started taking better photos today. Learn to take incredible photographs with nothing but the basics. No fancy equipment is necessary. Learn what the different shooting modes mean, how and when to use them. This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of digital photography and composition. From aperture, shutter speed and ISO to white balance, exposure compensation, and image composition secrets. Plenty of time has been scheduled for questions and answers. This class is just 3 hours, from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm, in the Long Island Photo Gallery, 467 Main Street, Islip. Joanne Henig, your instructor for this workshop, will start with a complete overview of your DSLR camera, so please bring your camera & camera manual to the workshop. Bring your questions too. This is a great class for anyone who is tired of missing the shot and who finally wants to take control of their camera, rather than having the camera take control of you. Get out of “auto” mode (the green square) and learn to take better, artistic photographs with confidence! We hope you can join us for this ‘DSLR & Composition Basics’ workshop with instructor and pro-photographer Joanne Henig in the Long Island Photo Gallery, Islip, NY. Thank you in advance for supporting Long Island Photo Gallery’s continued efforts to provide fun, educational photography workshops and events for both the photographer, their family, and friends.
