Long Island Photo Gallery has been selected to supply oversized canvas prints that are now on permanent display and grace the main glass atrium entryways of the 25 Melville Drive office complex building in Melville, NY.
The 40″ x 60″ oversized canvases are magnificent and add the much needed adornment to the plain, pale gray wall coverings that enveloped the oversized main building entrances.
The images were chosen by interior design specialist Maureen Crilly of Crilly & Company and her client. Together with curator Joanne Henig they culled outstanding representations of fine art photographic imagery of Long Island. From lighthouses and sailboats to fisherman and farmland, the selection of images are among the finest Long Island photography portfolios have to offer.
The Melville, 11747 art sale and installation project took 4 weeks to complete, from selection to installation. Among the artists’ works that were chosen were “Long Island Life“, “Path To History“, “Marine Parkway Bridge“, “Red and Green” “Home Port“, “Fire Island Lighthouse“, “Windmill“, “Working Wheels“, “Horton Point Lighthouse“, “Traffic Jam“, and “Execution Rock“.
