Long Island Photo Gallery’s ‘Itty Bitty Photography Exhibitty‘ opens March 1 in Islip, NY.
Long Island Photo Gallery will be exhibiting a Macro photography art exhibit beginning March 1, 2015 and running throughout the month. A reception is planned for all artists and the general public on Friday, Mar. 27, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Long Island Photo Gallery, 467 Main Street in Islip. The gallery features fine art photography by more than 85 established and up and coming Long Island photographers. All pieces on display are be available for purchase.
The study of Macrophotography is unique using extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects.
Members of Long Island Photo Gallery are local photographers who enjoy exploring many forms of artistic expression through photography and digital applications. Long Island Photo Gallery was originally established in 2007 to give a voice to digital photographic art as a medium deserving of recognition.
Long Island Photo Gallery offers many events in the gallery each month such as critique nights and exhibit receptions. This ‘member only’ gallery displays a wide variety of fine art and is open to the general public Tues – Fri from 11am-6pm and Sat. from 10am-4pm.
