Long Island Photo Gallery member photographers display fine ART to benefit local charity
Islip, NY: April 2, 2014: Long Island Photo Gallery Curators, Joanne Henig and Jessica Lempin are pleased to announce a fine ART Floral Photography Exhibit to benefit Make-A-Wish, Suffolk County. The exhibit is open to the public throughout the month of April with a formal reception being held at the gallery located at 467 Main Street, Islip on Saturday, April 26th, from 2pm – 4pm. The exhibit will feature one Suffolk County ‘Wish Child’s’ fine ART photography. The fine ART photography work of this child is being displayed along with participating Long Island Photo Gallery member photographer’s fine ART. This appreciative ‘Wish Child’ has benefited from Make-A-Wish in the past and is working with Long Island Photo Gallery in support of “Kids for Wish Kids”, her way of paying donations forward to another “Wish Child”, so that other children struggling with a life threatening illness can experience their personal wish.
In addition to contributions currently being collected from local residents, photographers and businesses, all proceeds from this exhibit will go directly to Make-A-Wish, Suffolk County. Long Island Photo Gallery is proud to sponsor this event to benefit Suffolk County Wish Children. Having her work centered among professional photographers in a fine ART exhibit has made this young lady very, very happy. In addition to the exhibit, a live, acoustic, musical performance by DRH Experiment will also be featured on the day of the formal reception.
If you cannot attend this event, please consider mailing a donation, that is affordable to you, directly to
