Part of being a photographer and member of Long Island Photo Gallery means having the chance to participate in themed exhibits almost every month of the year. These themes range from abstract to literal and are always up for interpretation by our motivated photographers! For our upcoming exhibit beginning on March 3rd, we are looking specifically for Street Life photography and photographers who love to go out and shoot in urban environments.
We know there are many photographers out there on Long Island who love to travel to Manhattan just to capture the big city, alleyways, time lapse action shots, bridges, and the urban jungle lifestyle. Becoming a member of Long Island Photo Gallery means being able to share these metropolitan images with a group of people who know and appreciate the intensity and patience it takes to get a perfect capture of any city!
Februrary 23, 2016 begins our drop off week of any photographs for the Street Life Exhibit. If you are interested in participating and showing your photographs in this show feel free to contact Jessica Lempin with any questions and comments. You can contact her at 1 888 600-5474 or stop into our gallery and take a look at our current “Textures” exhibit and meet us in person!
We are located at 467 Main Street, Islip, NY 11751 and would love to help you show off your urban photographs.
