Holly Gordon’s creative photographic expression along with Ward Hooper’s glorious painting style has created a unique collaboration – Brush/Lens Project – and it continues to evolve. The lines and shapes
between painting and photography continue to blur and re-emerge as a new art form. It’s all pART of the continuum of the evolution of ART.
“The viewfinder is my canvas and what is in front of my lens becomes my palette. “, says Gordon.
Gordon just returned from a photographic journey through Cuba (Motor Coach Diaries) and friend Ward Hooper has waisted no time in creating a new watercolor based on Gordon’s images. The tables have turned! The earlier Brush/Lens Project series had Gordon replicating Hooper’s paintings. “Our Brush/Lens Project collaboration stARTed with inspiration from Ward’s paintings to cause me to expand my creativity. Now, my Cuba images are inspiring Ward Hooper to expand his creative vision.”
Ward Hooper surprised Holly Gordon with the watercolor gift. Looks like we will be seeing the Brush/Lens Project bloom into a new creative direction. Congratulations Holly Gordon & Ward Hooper!
