Here is a snippet of what Michael has to say about his love and passion for photography:

“I was born in Hawaii and have lived most of  life on the South Shore of Long Island. I have enjoyed photography for the last 20 years or so but bought my first DSLR early in 2012. My hobby evolved into something more serious during and after Hurricane Sandy.  I was able to watch my local Beach and Marina at Old Inlet get pounded my massive swells and eventually give way to create a new inlet where in the same spot where we spent countless days and nights with family and friends.  When the sadness passed I came to realize that this inlet was a gift, allowing the Eastern Great South Bay to recover from years of abuse and stagnation with fresh ocean water flowing once again.”
