Long Island Photo Gallery would like to give a shout out to one of our many loyal members, Marzena Grabczynska Lorenc! As of this month she has a been a wonderful addition to the artists of Long Island Photo Gallery for three years and has shared many of her beautiful photographs with us.Born and raised in Poland, Marzanna has always had an eye for beauty and an intuitive sense of color. Trained as a librarian, Marzena graduated from college with a deep and abiding love of literature.
Marzena came to America in 1987 and currently lives on the North Shore of Long Island with her husband and daughter. An avid traveler, she has been to all corners of the globe, always with camera in hand so that she can chronicle her journey and share her experiences with others. An award-winning photographer, Marzena’s work has been featured in various publications. Her exhibits include Long Island Center of Photography at the African American Museum in Hempstead, where she was named Best in Show in 2010 .
